PIANO CONCERTO PREMIERE
In October of 2017, Heng-Jin appeared as soloist with ‘A Far Cry’ in the triumphant premiere of a piano concerto crafted especially for her by composer Elena Ruehr. This colorful, virtuosic piece chronicles Heng-Jin’s migration from Korea to the United States at the age of 10 and her subsequent adjustment to life in America, where music is her solace.
